MICA BAND HEATERS
Ideal for temperatures up to 400 degrees C, and for clamping around cylinders, dies, and containers etc. Mica bands can incorporate clearance holes, may have a built in thermostat or sensor, and may have various types of termination such as plug sockets or simple flexible leads.

FLAT MICA HEATERS
Constructed in the same way as mica band heaters, the flat versions may be clamped to flat surfaces such as extrusion dies or steel tanks etc. A clamping plate can be provided to ensure good contact, and as with band heaters holes can be incorporated to clear any projections. Various terminations available as required.
CERAMIC KNUCKLE TYPES
Ceramic knuckle heaters are made from interlocking ceramic pieces and are therefore flexible. They will operate at temperatures up to 550 degrees C if required, and can be supplied as bands or in flat form. Clearance holes and various terminations can be provided as required.
CERAMIC INFRA-RED
The solid ceramic types as shown are available in two sizes
(245 x 60 and 123 x 60) and are commonly used in plastics vacuum forming. Other forms of infra-red heaters including quartz tubes and metal sheathed types are also supplied to suit the application.

CARTRIDGE HEATERS
Cartridge heaters are normally supplied in stainless steel, and are designed to fit into an accurately reamed hole. Often used in plastic mould tools and dies, they can provide a heat source deep within the mass which is to be heated. Imperial and metric diameters are available, and the flexible leads can be straight, angled, and/or protected in metal sheathing.

CAST ALUMINIUM HEATERS
Cast heaters are very robust clamp on types. Made by casting metal tubular elements into solid aluminium, they are then machined to give a good contact surface. They can incorporate cooling fins or cast in cooling tubes for liquid cooling, and are commonly used in this form on plastics extrusion machinery.

IMMERSION HEATERS
We supply immersion heaters for a wide range of industrial applications, both threaded and flanged types, in various sheath materials to suit the product being heated. Heaters may be single or 3 phase, may incorporate thermostats, and can have terminal covers which may be IP rated. Complete flow heaters in a housing with inlet and outlet can be made to order.

FLEXIBLE SILICONE RUBBER & ETCHED FOIL HEATERS
These heating elements have the advantage of being flexible and moisture proof.
They are ideal for low temperature applications up to approx. 200 degrees C, and can be made in various shapes with holes etc. if required. Thermal fuses or thermostats may be incorporated, and heaters can be supplied in self adhesive form or even bonded to a metal heatsink.

DRUM HEATERS FOR STANDARD 45GAL./200 LITRE DRUMS ETC.
We supply flexible silicone rubber drum heaters as shown, and also heavy duty metal hinged versions, both of which have an integral thermostat and rubber mains lead.
A fabricated steel base heater is available for applications which require the drum to be heated from the bottom. Special drum type heaters can be made to fit other sizes of cylindrical containers.

TUBULAR ROD ELEMENTS
Metal sheathed tubular rod elements are used for numerous applications at temperatures up to approx. 600 degrees C. We supply elements in various sheath materials including Incoloy, Stainless Steel, Copper and Mild Steel. Straight lengths or formed elements can be supplied, with fittings and terminations as required.

THERMOCOUPLES AND RESISTANCE THERMOMETERS
"J" type "K" type and PT-100 are the most common temperature sensors which we supply, but other forms can also be produced to order. Virtually any size and configuration is possible, from mineral insulated thermocouples of 0.5mm diameter through to very large furnace probes etc. Suitable plugs and sockets can be fitted or supplied separately. COMPLETE CONTROL PANELS
We are often asked to supply control panels as part of a complete "package" of heating equipment. Any unit from small single zone to large multi zone (as shown) can be supplied to be used in conjunction with our heating equipment.

HIGH TEMPERATURE PLUGS & CABLES
Two pin scraping earth plugs in rubber or die-cast/ceramic, and 3 pin plugs in plastic/ceramic, together with silicone rubber cables to suit. High temperature nickel core cables and sleevings also available.

HEATED HOSES
For hot-melt adhesives and foodstuffs etc. Temperature range, pressure requirements, and end fittings can be varied according to the demands of the particular application.
